NAATI info

National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters

What is NAATI?

NAATI is the official and national authority, which is actually under the Government of Australia. Officially, NAATI is a company, which is relevant to the Commonwealth Law of 2001, in the corporations law section.

NAATI also has a place as an authority giving advice in relation to quality assurance.

The regulations and also the standards of interpreting and translation come under the wing of NAATI.

The bottom line is that if you want to be an official and authorised legal translator in Australia, then you should be NAATI registered. NAATI registered translators may, at times, go to an Australia migration expo.

NAATI tests can give bonus points to Australian migrants, and people who want to migrate to Australia.

The Australian migration points system has a place for bonus points.

NAATI may appear at Australian migration expo if it chooses, which may be one place to get further NAATI information.
